    Recommendations for reporting

Before filing a complaint, it is important to collect all possible evidence that proves your rights have been violated. This can include documents, contracts, emails or Whatsapp messages, photographs or anything else that can help support your allegations. Be sure to keep them safe.

Learn about your rights: Knowing what rights you have as a worker will provide you with a solid foundation to defend yourself in cases of labor exploitation. If you have any questions or need support, do not hesitate to contact us and we will support you.

Document your work hours: Keep a detailed record of the hours you work each day. This may include arrival and departure times as well as breaks taken. An accurate record can help prove whether you have been forced to work unpaid overtime or if rules about rest and breaks have been violated.

Keep all messages: Keep all emails, text messages or other communications that may be related to labor exploitation. These conversations can be helpful in demonstrating threats, intimidation, or other forms of inappropriate behavior by the employer.

Collect contracts and employment documents: Gather all the documentation related to your employment contract, as well as any other policy, agreement or document related to your employment conditions. This includes pay slips, job descriptions, company policies or any contract amendments.

Photograph or film visual evidence: If possible, take photographs or record videos of situations that identify the location and evidence labor exploitation. This could include unsafe working conditions, lack of protective equipment, physical exploitation or other forms of unfair treatment. Make sure you do it safely and without putting yourself in danger.

Record the location of the field or warehouse where you work. You can do this by sending a trusted contact your location via Whatsapp or any other application.
